Build Commander for StarCraft 2 App Reviews

This is a good app. Anybody who says its out-dated dont realize this was made pre-patch, and that you can make your own builds too. Though, the Help button does not work. It should be filled with units and their build time.

Some of the build orders changed during SC2 Update. Please update the app.

Its great, but the reaper rush thing is incorrect. You need a factory for the upgrade, and it doesnt have a factory in it.

Needs update, but its still the best app of its kind in the store. Best display of unit to build, can easily be seen during action. Glad I could update my orders manually. So, nearly perfect, and for this price..!!

How in the wold do u build this?

If users could edit build times that would make a big difference. Its awesome we can make our own build orders as well. GREAT APP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lemme start by saying that this is a great app for the price. I love that it automatically moves to the next step in the build. I love that I can create builds on the go. I found no substantial problems creating my own builds, but wish that you could copy an existing build as a new name so that you dont have to repeat inputting steps with every new build. I wish you could input the times by typing it instead of just using the + and - buttons. that way I could input something as 75 seconds and have it automatically convert it to 1:15. there should also be a way to account for supply as well, especially since all build orders are essentially based around supply. I found a work around to this by just adding it in the notes but would love if it was included somehow. it would be cool/helpful too if the ending time for a given unit/building/research was automatically calculated for me. incorporating a way to edit builds on my pc and import them to the program would be ideal. or send them to friends via email. a change in font and some polish would really make this app shine too. I realize that I am making a lot of requests when I have no clue as to how difficult it may be to create an app, but the dev did say he wants this app to be the best and that he wanted feedback so there it is. I applaud what he has done with the app so far and look forward to future updates. - march

Its a great app and Ive been waiting for the next version. But it came with so few build orders. Most people wont take the time to create their own build orders as it is a lot of work to measure the times. Why dont you add a ton more predefined build orders? That will make the App more accessible to newbies as well which is a big majority.

This app is hands down the most unique and helpful sc2 companion app out right now. I love the interface and the ability to add in my own custom builds for practice. The only thing I hope you consider adding is a few more preloaded builds. The current ones are incredibly basic and kinda cheesy. Other than that 5 stars all around.

Keep the app up to date and more builds! Im using to train some of my newbie friends. Its awesome!

Would love a way to share build orders or get more of them without having to type it all in, but a great tool nonetheless. This is replacing my post it notes Ive been struggling to read while playing.

This is a nice app! there is a bug with zerg though, when you construct a building in game u would loose a suply because you spend a drone. but when u put a building in a build order on this app, the suply stays the same.

I can finally organize my strategies love it

this app doesnt utilize block hotkeys. most high end players utulize this.

This jus made me win my first game. It walks u through the entire game.

This app needs to be universal. I have an iPad and an iPhone but it is easier to see things on the iPad, simply because it is bigger. It would be great to see this as a Universal app so that I could have my iPad propped up next to the computer when I practice. Additional features I would love to see: Include a glossary of units with all the relevant information and tips from the game: Example: Terrain Marine Health/Attack/Etc Is good against xyz... Stuff like that. Include hotkeys for units and even a separate hotkey chart that can be accessed anytime. Include more builds with a default installation. I am new to the multiplayer aspect of Starcraft 2 (I have played lots of games before) and I am interested in learning to to play the fast paced, adrenaline pumping multiplayer action in this game and I think this app has a lot of potential to help in that way. You just need to make this app an indispensable tool, even to pro-players if that is possible. Maybe include a way to even add your profile and replays. I will rate 5 stars when I see some updates. For now, 3 stars.

Wonderful app! I hope more people add Zerg orders and more in general because I love the app
